The Georgian-Spanish tenor Valeriano Gamghebeli is a solid and versatile voice on the international lyrical scene. Based in Madrid, his career confirms his inheritance of the great vocal traditions, having trained at the Tbilisi Conservatory under Nodar Andguladze and perfected his craft under the guidance of the legendary Alfredo Kraus.

Winner of the most prestigious competitions, including the Grand Prize of the "Francisco Viñas" Competition and the "José Carreras" Award, his career has taken him to renowned stages: from his acclaimed debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in Rigoletto, invited by Götz Friedrich, to the Bayreuth Festival, where he prepared Lohengrin, and productions at the Rome Opera under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti.

Possessing a voice of great power and brilliant colour, his repertoire spans the central roles of Verdi and Puccini (Aida, Otello, Tosca, Turandot) to Wagnerian drama (Lohengrin) and symphonic works such as Verdi's Requiem or Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde. Critics have praised his "flawless singing," his "first-class vocal line," and his powerful stage communication.
